My pup is from Shannon at southerncrossakk.com. They can cost anywhere from $1500-3000 for just the pup. AKK tend to be quite pricey so be sure you have the money!

"Hi! :) In response to the anon's question about taking an AKK for a run. The answer is absolutely YES! Dogs do need to be conditioned, just like humans, so you wouldn't be able to take them for a long run right off the bat. But they can work up to it. My hubby takes MoJo on 5-6 mile runs with no problem! MoJo LOOOOVES it. Pretty sure it's his favorite thing in the world. :) And now when I try to take him on leisurely strolls he acts agitated. *haha* (And waiting till 15 months is good advice!)" - abitofsilliness
